How to recycle your bamboo brush? Three simple steps!

Congratulations, #brushbooer! If you’re reading this article, it’s because you care about caring for the environment and have taken a big step towards living a more sustainable life by wearing a healthy smile while taking care of the planet.

Has it been more than 3 months since you last bought your last bamboo brush? How to dispose of it? We tell you about it.
As we know, the handle is made of moso bamboo, which is a 100% biodegradable material, however, the bristles are made of nylon 6, the most degradable plastic on the market and recommended by oral health specialists. Therefore, both the handle and the bristles go in separate containers.

STEP 1: Remove bristles from handle
First, you must separate the bristles with tweezers and deposit them in the yellow container for plastic waste.

STEP 2: Discard the bamboo handle

We want to ensure that the 100% biodegradable bamboo handle becomes a compostable item for our environment. Make sure to dispose of it correctly in the brown garbage can, where organic waste is deposited. You can also throw it (first cut it into small pieces) in the garden closest to your house.

STEP 3: Other alternatives

So as not to throw away your bamboo brush: reuse and give the handle a second life!
